ILD.png Incident Leadership and Decisions $3,500.00

The ILD is an 8 hour session designed to allow the participants to actively work as a team managing a scenario that focuses on leadership challenges and the ability to make sound decision based on information and other stimulus.

This Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) complaint “Game” also includes some basic foundational instruction on leadership and some technical background on anti-terrorism tactics that will be needed as part of the scenario. Utilizing both computer aided information sources and a scaled mock- up of the incident location, participants are immersed in one of the fifteen Department of Homeland Security National Planning Scenarios. Participants will also be asked to produce some specific products and items during the scenario play. Players are scored against a standard exercise and evaluation guided based on the new (HSEEP) core competencies (formally known as the target capabilities list)

PRE-REQUISITES: Incident Command training to the 300 level (ICS 402 for Elected and appointed officials)

Additional recommended training: ICS 400, NIMS 700, NRF 800, Position Specific Training (any of the FEMA 900 series courses)

*This course is a natural follow on to the Advanced Planning Concepts: Developing Incident Action Plans (NE-001-COMM) course

Emergency Management Directors and staff, Police, Fire, Emergency Medical Service (EMS),Elected / appointed officials, Public works, Volunteer agencies and Military.
 

Price is flatrate per class.  Class will allow up to 24 participants.
